Description: The most striking of her appearance is her eyes. They have the color you'd usually find on a bird of sorts and she prides herself in them greatly. They have a constant glint in her eye, but depending on who she is at the time, it can either be caring, sadistic or both. Her hair is jet black, just like her head looks in bird form when she fully transforms, but she never has. Her skin is soft-looking and has no blemishes save for maybe a few minor light scars. Although her nose isn't necessarily hooked, it gives off a beak feel to it and makes her face look more bird-like, paired with her eyes. Her lips are proportioned and are always pulled into an odd smile she only shares with people who happen to pass by her cell, along with a mocking bird call. She is slender and slightly curvy, with a generous bust on her frame. Her hair is also very soft, like the plummage on the bird she was crossed with.

Clothing: She has one constant outfit. A rubber jumpsuit that she's been clad in since she was first formed. When she takes it off, it reveals extra covering on her back and wrists. Her finger coverings are always visible. She also wears a hood that is rugged and torn by herself. It goes down to below her breasts in the front and down to her waist in the back. Nothing attaches it to her arms or body. It's just a hood/cloak thingymajigger. She finds it funny and often jokes about it to herself. She wears a hood, she's crossed with a Hooded Pitohui. Haha.

Personality and TraitsPersonality: Renata has a very...twisted personality. She wasn't always like that, though, although she doesn't remember it. She's more animal than human. Deep down though...there's just a tiny bit of humanity that makes her so complex and that sliver of humanity sometimes laces the things she does. After she was cross-bred with her bird animal, she became very afraid of herself and what she could do. They clad her in a leather jumpsuit and extra coverrings where her poison seeped out most. No one wanted to go near her, and when they did, they always wore masks and jumpsuits to protect themselves from her. Renata herself, at first, didn't know what to do with her homobratrachotoxin which was given to her because of her diet, Mylirad beetles, a poison that affects the nerves, but soon enough, she learned, and painfully. The government saw her as a weapon of sorts. One touch, and if she wanted to, she could paralyze and/or kill you. People got sick just being near her for too long sometimes. Renata hated herself and the fear drove her insane.
She was brainwashed and she believed it all. Renata worst fear was becoming a failed experiment and be stuck in a cage forever. So, she did everything they asked so she could be free, be a apart of something, have a
purpose outside of just rotting away slowly. Ever heard of people believing anything and everything as long as they felt wanted, or had a purpose? Yeah, 'nuff said.
She became a willing killer. Renata forced herself to enjoy what she doing, so she could keep doing it and
not fall apart. Eventually, she didn't have to force herself to enjoy it anymore. She always thanked the ones she used it on, right before their last breath, for letting her train on them. Then, she resented the governement when they abandoned her and left her with broken promises and a broken spirit, all for nothing. Eventually, her old self resurfaces and she is the most caring and kindhearted person you'd meet. Her mentality cherishes these moments when she's herself again. The little girl she was before they changed, mutated, corrupted her. Just Renata. Not a killer.
Renata has a case of DOD as mentioned before. Also, to show she cares for someone, she hurts them. Not severely, but enough to make them hurt. Just a little bit of what pain she went through. Giving them a migraine could be one way. Maybe even paralyzing a limb for a while. Somewhere along those lines. That's how she shows she cares. But, she doesn't do it to them all the time. One for when she realizes she genuinely cares for them, another when they trust
her enough to touch her bare fingertips, wrist or back and another, but only if she falls in love. She made this ritual in her mind inside her cell one day. There are 3 Main Reasons to why she gives pan to those she cares about: One, to her, she's letting them in, giving a piece of herself to them, and she does this to show her love for them. Anyone else doesn't deserve her pain, in her mind. Two (this refers to the 'ritual'), it eases her mind and is her way of proving you care for her. Three, because of what they did to her; they hurt her and to deal with it, she convinced herself it was because they cared and wanted her to be better at what she did so she would have a better chance at breaking out.
When she does become her old self, she's selfless, caring, kindhearted and a sincere person who genuinely cares for those around her. She doesn't give pain, she likes to soothe others and make friends. Giving pain is terrible in her mind at that point. This part of her emerges under great emotion or mental overload. Once she gets herself under control, she's back to who she was.
So, she won't use it on innocents like she did before. Right now, her main focus is showing she cares, and using her ability to destroy her creators. After that, well...it depends on whether or not she's managed to be herself again that will determine her killing tendencies. She could go back to practicing on innocents and feeling joy because of it. Or maybe, just maybe, she can repent.

Specialties: Poisoning, of course. Her greatest achievement when it comes to that is being able to spurt her poison from her fingertips a good distance, about 15 feet away at the most. She's constantly working to beat her record at how far she can squirt it. She is lithe and speedy, when she runs its as if her feet aren't even touching the ground. She has enhanced sight and her hearing is exceptional. Also, she's learned to mimic other bird calls and noises with her trills. Scavenging for food is a specialty as well. Arm strength.

Description: For the back, it's a piece of leather that has string attached to the sides. She ties it to meet in the front of her torso. For the wrist, it's also leather. all she has to do is strap it together. Her fingerstips are covered in rubber and she slips them on. This is where her main spots of her body excrete the homobachtrotoxin so she keeps it extra covered.

Pets/Companions: Background and RP SampleHistory/Background: Renata, after she was formed was trained. Trained to do what she wouldn't even think of doing. Hurting, even killing others. She was afraid of herself. Afraid of her poison, and how no one wanted to come near her. They always wore jumpsuits, and clad her in a jumpsuit of her own, and covering the places where she was really poisonous. They broke her....To make sure that she would listen to them and make her easier to brainwash. And, oh she was. She believed everything that they said. Believed all their promises. Believed that the reason they would punish her when she did something wrong was because they cared. They were showing they cared. And, that's where her giving others pain and her warped sense of love comes from.
After they broke her, they trained her to enjoy giving pain to others and she forced herself to enjoy it. They'd put animals in front of her and she'd train on them. Almost every single animal or insect she trained on died. She became very efficient at animals and so they gave her a final test. If she passed, they promised her freedom from the facility, unlike the others. Looking at the others, she used to shudder, not wanting to be what she saw them as at first. Useless, and weak. No, she didn't want to be like that. So, she took the test. And passed. What was the test? They made an experiment specifically for her to attempt to kill. They made her see how long she could hurt them until they died. She made him last long, and he suffered greatly, until death finally stole his breath one fateful day.
Renata was ecstatic. She was going to be free and was going to be a part of the people she admired and looked up to.
And then they abandoned her. She was just another experiment, just like the others. Her worst nightmare, and it drove her even more over the edge, but she never fell. Sometimes she'd even manage to stand upright, away from the edge, when her regular self came back. Once she got control over herself, though, or knocked her old self out, she'd continue to teeter over the edge.
Now, she just sits in her cell, alone and abandoned. Resentful for the people who made her...who broke her. Renata's spirit is ever threatening to mend itself, to be 'reborn', just like her name says. She can't do it alone, though, and she had no one else to rely on. She's just sitting there, fighting against herself endlessly, and living off the beetles that they left behind, letting them breed so she could eat more.

RP Sample: Xifeng raised her eyebrows in mock astonishment as some man she had never seen before appeared out of nowhere, taking down a guard along the way. She stared at him in that wa of hers, like she was trying to get under his skin. She lost her interest after a while, and chuckled in amusement, before looking away from him. She couldn't help but stare back down at Rave's hand. The one that produced the cyan fire. She stared at it for a couple moments before snapping her eye's to jet. 'What did you say?' was her basic expression and accomanying it was the look she usually only gave Haretsu : 'Are you high?'
Xifeng looked towards Haretsu and laughed at the look he was giving Jet. She always found it amusing how he didn't even have to say anything for you to know he was cussing. She looked back at Rave again, this time at her face. There was a slight intolerance in her eyes and the corners of her mouth lifted. It could've been considered a smile, but with the look in her eyes, it was more a look of contempt. She felt a slight nudging and the calling of her nickname, but she ignored it. After the second time, she turned to her brother, eyebrows raised, silently asking him what was up.
Xifeng laughed at his playful question and she purposely glanced at Jet with an eyebrow raised. "I was thinking the same thing, bro. He better not be holding out on the good stuff, if he is." She paused. "Hmm...maybe the sea wasn't as good to him as I thought," she threw in, shaking her head with a small smirk. She looked openly at her brother again, this time thinking maybe Jet wasn't high. Maybe he was inviting her for an actual reason. Or maybe he's just high, she thought.
Something made her look at Rave once again, like she knew there was gonna be something different about her if she did. She was right. Xifeng watched curiously as rave's expression turned almost tortured and a single tear rolled down her cheek. That look of contempmt came back again, involuntarily. Xifeng thought maybe the open rejection was too much for her to handle as she listened to her speak towards Haretsu again.
